British Airways up in the air
British Airways continue to trade while talks between management and the Unite trade union carry on. Although Unite have a 63.5% mandate from cabin staff to strike, no date has yet been set, meaning would-be passengers are concerned reservations will not be fulfilled. It is apparent there is a militant group of the cabin crew determined to make their feelings known, despite passenger reaction or the consequences it has on the airline. However, Unite must strike by 22 March 2010, or be forced to re-ballot, while it also needs to give seven days notice prior to commencing any action.
