Eurostar offers new class of service

Eurostar, the high-speed train operator between the UK, France and Belgium, has begun selling tickets for a new class of travel.

The new Standard Premier is a mid-class designed to cater to the cost-conscious business traveller and leisure travellers who require that little bit more space and higher service - including a light meal at the passengers seat.

Selling now, the new class will be operating from 1 September, replacing the Leisure Select class, and is the result of extensive customer feedback and market research.

Commercial Director, Nick Mercer, explained, "It became very clear that there was a strong appetite for a mid-range product pitched between our fully-flexible Business Premier and Standard classes. With the introduction of Standard Premier, we now have a range of products that meets the differing needs of all our customers."
