British Airways News Update

The British Airways winter 2011-12 schedule came into effect from 30th October.
In addition to the terminal changes at London Heathrow, the main schedule changes taking place over the winter are as follows:

London Heathrow

Frequency increases on Barcelona, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Milan Linate,Luxembourg, Paris Orly, Prague, Manchester, Nice and Hamburg.

The Frankfurt schedule has been improved to make timings more convenient in both directions.

Services to Rio de Janeiro will now increase from three to six times a week (Flights will now operate on days _234567)

Cape Town services will increase from 13 to 14 per week, which means that British Airways will now have a double daily service.

Riyadh is increasing by one flight a week to offer a daily service.

Los Angeles services will be reducing by one daily service, bringing the total flights per week to 21.

Warsaw, Pisa, Stuttgart and Milan Malpensa services will decrease by seven a week and Paris Charles de Gaulle and Stockholm services will decrease by six per week.


London Gatwick

Mauritius services move from London Heathrow and the service has been re-timed to allow customers to leave Mauritius in the evening and gain an extra day on the beach.

Tampa services increase from 5 to 6 per week.

Barbados services increase from 10 to 12 per week.

Cancun services increase from 2 to 3 per week.

St.Lucia/Port of Spain and Malaga services both increase to daily over the winter.

Some destinations will see day of the week changes, including Thessaloniki, Catania, Montego Bay and Male.
