You also have the reassurance that your consultant is on hand to offer assistance if required. For companies wishing to control their travel expenditure, trip approval procedures can be put in place to ensure compliance with the company travel policy. This method of booking attracts a lower transaction fee and so helps you control and manage costs. |

Payment SolutionsThe simplest and most efficient way of paying for your travel is by a Lodged Card /Business Travel Account. The virtual card is held by us and is used for all transactions. Its advantages include extended credit, a suspense account and detailed reporting, reducing accounting time and paperwork to a minimum. Added to this, we will reconcile your statements, cross referencing all invoice / credit notes and allocating disputed items to the suspense account. There are several options available, such as American Express Business Travel Account, UATP and Diners Club. We advise customers to look at the additional benefits offered by using some cards above the others: I.E. Accrual of points on Airline Corporate Loyalty Schemes with the American Express Lodge card for the British Airways’ On Business programme and Star Alliance Company Plus. Additionally, you are able to utilise your existing corporate credit cards as payment for any services obtained on your behalf by WEXAS Travel Management. Credit facilities may be available to you. Determining factors include monthly travel spend and a satisfactory credit check. Payment is monthly, by the 10th of the month following the date of the invoice. Extended credit terms are NOT available. We do not recommend this form of payment, as there are no additional benefits for you the customer. Also, we are aware that our payment terms with the airlines may change from a monthly reconciliation to fortnightly. Therefore, we recommend that customers protect themselves from having to pay us monthly by using a Business Travel account or a company credit card. |
