Multi-trip Travel Insurance

The following are the Benefits provided under our standard package and apply to each Insured Person each trip.

Medical and Additional Expenses - Up to £10,000,000
Cover for hospital and other medical expenses incurred whilst outside the United Kingdom and within 12 months from the date of the injury/ illness.
Cover also includes additional accommodation and repatriation costs.
24 hour Medical Emergency assistance included

Cancellation and Curtailment - Up to £5,000
Reimbursement for unused travel and accommodation costs if the trip is cancelled or cut short as a result of any cause outside the control of the Assured &/or Insured Person.

Employee Replacement Expenses - Up to £10,000
Additional expenses incurred in replacing an ill or injured employee.

Missed or Delayed Departure - Up to £5,000
Reasonable additional travel and accommodation expenses incurred in meeting overseas connection or returning to the United
Kingdom if interruption caused by strikes, industrial action, criminal or terrorist action etc.

Travel Delay - £50 for each 4 hours (maximum £500)
A payment for each completed 4 hours of delay if the scheduled departure of a pre-booked plane, train, coach or sea vessel is delayed due to various reasons.

Personal Liability - Up to £2,000,000
Legal liability for damage to third parties or their property, (not a member of an Insured Persons family) and excluding any liability arising out the occupation or profession of an Insured Person.

Legal Expenses - Up to £25,000
In pursuit of a claim against a third party who has caused bodily injury to an Insured Person.

Personal Accident - £50,000
Payable in the event of Death or Permanent Total Disablement. For persons under 16 years of age and dependent children the Death benefit is £10,000 Accumulation limit £1,000,000

Hospital Benefit - Up to £1,500
A payment of £50 per complete 24-hour period spent as an in-patient in a hospital outside the United Kingdom.

Accompanied Baggage & Money - Up to £5,800
Reimbursement for loss of or damage to baggage and money
£2,500 Personal baggage, clothing or effects (£1,000 Single article limit)
£1,000 Business Equipment.
£300 Business Samples.
£2,000 Personal or business money (cash limit £1,000)

Delayed Baggage - Up to £750
For the purchase of immediate necessities if baggage is temporarily lost.

Hijack, Kidnap & Detention - Up to £15,000
£100 for each completed 24-hour period during such occurrences, subject to a maximum of £5,000. In addition reimbursement of additional expenses incurred, excluding ransom demands to help secure the release of the Insured Person.

Car Hire Excess Waiver - Up to £250
Reimbursement of the monetary excess if legally liable to pay following loss or damage to a rental car hired by the Insured Person.

Main Exclusions

  • Any trip booked or commenced contrary to medical advice, to obtain medical treatment or after a terminal
    prognosis.
  • Self-injury, suicide, provoked assault, criminal act.
  • Radioactive contamination.
  • Claims of less than £50 per person.
  • Pregnancy, childbirth or medical complications resulting there from if delivery is expected during the period of a trip or within 2 months thereafter.
  • Venereal Disease, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (A.I.D.S.), A.I.D.S. Related Complex (A.R.C.) or HIV.
  • Motor Sports, Professional sport, mountaineering (normally involving the use of ropes) and/or flying other than as a passenger.
  • Any condition or set of circumstances known to the Insured Person at the time of booking a trip where such condition or set of circumstances could reasonably have been expected to give rise to a claim.
  • The cost of continuing medication for any condition in respect of which advice or treatment is being followed at the time of booking a trip.
  • Jewellery, valuables and money whilst in the custody of a carrier.
  • Loss of money not reported to the police or other authority.
  • Medical expenses incurred after return to the United Kingdom or more than 24 months after the first expense was incurred, if earlier.
  • Taking part in naval or military operations.
  • Business equipment or samples otherwise insured.
  • Expenses arising as a consequence of a loss.
  • Terrorism involving nuclear, biological or chemical weapons &/or agents.
